Prevent Gap emails from going to Spam

To ensure you and your clients receive all important communications from The Gap, please add notifications@app.thegaphq.com to your email platform's safe senders list. 

Prevent emails from being marked as Spam in Outlook.com

  1. Add the sender to your Safe Senders list:

    • Right-click the email in your inbox.

    • Hover over "Block."

    • Select "Never Block Sender’s Domain."

  2. Mark emails as "Not Junk":

    • Open the Junk Email folder.

    • Select the message(s) you want to keep.

    • Click "Not Junk" from the toolbar, or open the email and select "It’s not junk."


Prevent emails from being marked as Spam in Gmail

  1. Move emails out of Spam:

    • Open the Spam folder.

    • Select the email and click "Not Spam."

    • Future emails from this sender will now go to your inbox.

  2. Add the sender to your contacts:

    • Open the email.

    • Click on the sender’s name and select "Add to Contacts."

    • Gmail is less likely to mark emails from saved contacts as spam.

  3. Create a filter to prevent emails from being marked as spam:

    • Open Gmail settings and go to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.

    • Click "Create a new filter."

    • Enter the sender’s email address and choose actions like "Never send to Spam."

    • Click "Create filter."


Prevent emails from being marked as Spam in Mac Mail

  1. Add the sender to Safe Senders:

    • Open "Mail" and go to "Preferences."

    • Navigate to the "Junk Mail" tab.

    • Click "Safe" and enter the sender’s email address.

    • Click "Add" to confirm.

  2. Move emails out of the Spam folder:

    • Open your Spam folder.

    • Find the email and right-click it.

    • Select "Move to Inbox."

    • Future messages from this sender should now appear in your inbox.

By following these steps, you can ensure that important emails always reach you and your clients inbox without being mistakenly filtered as spam.
